Alice in Wonderland Inspired Birthday Party

Planning my daughter's Birthday Party each year can be both exciting and challenging, especially when it comes to finding the perfect theme. Fortunately, for Kelby's 7th birthday, the decision was easy: Alice in Wonderland. This whimsical and magical story has captured the hearts of children and adults for generations, making it the perfect theme for a memorable celebration.

Kelby's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass invitations were designed to capture the essence of a vintage fairytale book. The invitations featured a whimsical and playful design, complete with illustrations of Alice, the Cheshire Cat, and the Mad Hatter. The cover of the invitation featured a illustration of a vintage-style book cover, complete with antique gold accents and delicate floral patterns. The invitations were printed on high-quality coverstock paper, giving them a sturdy and authentic feel.

Inside the invitations, guests were invited to join Kelby on an adventure through the magical world of Wonderland. The invitations featured playful and imaginative language, featuring quotes and phrases from Lewis Carroll's timeless classic. The vintage style of the invitations added a touch of nostalgia to the event, making guests feel like they were stepping back in time to a magical and enchanting world.

Overall, the invitations set the tone for the entire event, giving guests a sneak peek into the playful and imaginative world that awaited them at the party.

I was inspired by the vibrant colors, quirky characters, and playful atmosphere of the story. From the invitations to the party favors, every detail was carefully crafted to transport the guests into a wonderland of fun and adventure.

To fit with the tea party theme, we served a selection of refreshing teas, along with water, fresh fruits and snacks.

For something a bit more substantial, we also offered an assortment of panini sandwiches. The sandwiches were made with a variety of fillings, including ham and cheese, turkey and avocado, and roasted vegetables.

To add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the menu, we also served a charcuterie board with meats and cheeses. The board featured a variety of cured meats, including prosciutto and salami, along with a selection of artisanal cheeses. We also included a variety of crackers, bread, and fresh grapes to complement the flavors of the meats and cheeses.

Kelby's Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party featured two distinct sets of decor that perfectly captured the playful and imaginative spirit of the beloved story. The first set of decor was whimsical and light, featuring bright colors, oversized playing cards, and playful props. This side of the party was designed to transport guests into the magic of Wonderland.

On the other side of the party space, we created a more dramatic and regal atmosphere inspired by the Queen of Hearts. This side of the party was decked out in red and black decor, complete with bold patterns, dramatic lighting, and plenty of roses. Alice in Wonderland Queen of Hearts Birthday Party The centerpiece of the Queen of Hearts side of the party was a stunning red and black balloon arch that created a dramatic backdrop and added a touch of elegance to the decor. Alice in Wonderland Themed Birthday Party To fit with the Queen's love for all things sweet, we created a bakery and pastries table that featured an assortment of delicious treats.Guests could choose from a mix of baked goods, including fruit danishes, apple turnovers, chocolate covered strawberries and cake pops, all decorated with the iconic red and black colors of the Queen of Hearts.

Overall, the food options for the Queen of Hearts side were a perfect blend of sweet and sophisticated. From the bakery and pastries table to the hand crafted sweets, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Alice in Wonderland Themed Birthday Party To add to the whimsy and magic of the party, I asked an amazing friend to dress up and surprise Kelby and her guests as the Mad Hatter. This iconic character from the story was brought to life and added to the overall atmosphere of the party.

The Mad Hatter's presence was the highlight of the party.
